This auxiliary blind spot mirror is designed to help you check your vehicle's blind spots, but should not be solely relied upon. The side mirrors on your car remain the primary monitoring tools.
When installing this mirror, be sure to press it firmly onto the black pivot base and side mirror to ensure it does not come loose. It is recommended to fold in your car's side mirrors when washing the vehicle, and avoid washing the car within 24 hours of installing the blind spot mirror.
The mirror size ranges from 1.9 to 2.3 inches, so please confirm the appropriate dimension for your vehicle's side mirrors before placing your order. Larger cars may require a mirror slightly bigger than the 2-inch size.
If the mirror becomes detached or damaged, we will gladly send you a replacement after reviewing the issue. You can install this mirror virtually anywhere, but the top outer edge of both side mirrors is the recommended placement.
To install, first clean the surface of your car's exterior side mirrors with alcohol. Press the blind spot mirror firmly onto the black pivot base, then remove the adhesive cover and affix the swivel base to the side mirror, applying pressure for at least 20 seconds.
When removing the mirror, use caution to avoid scratching the glass. Gently pry it off with a single-edge razor blade. A hair dryer can help soften the adhesive. Any remaining adhesive can be removed with nail polish remover or alcohol.
The mirror itself is convex in shape, with a frame design containing no metal components, making it waterproof and rust-resistant. The back features a double-sided adhesive for attaching to your car's side mirrors.
This blind spot mirror enhances your safety by allowing you to see into the blind area behind your vehicle when you stop and turn. The wide-angle, 360-degree adjustable swivel mount maximizes your field of vision.
To install, first clean your existing side mirrors, then affix the blind spot mirror to the mounting frame before securing it to the side mirrors. Be cautious not to press directly on the mirror itself, as this could cause it to crack. Do not install on mirrors with coatings, hydrophilic treatments, or other aids.
